Namaste everyone! After so much confusion with the flights and going to Germany and London, we finally arrived in Delhi! My first reaction was, “oh my gosh I can’t believe I am actually here. In India! 8,000 miles away!” As soon as we arrived we went to the carousel to get our luggage and it kept spinning… and spinning… and spinning… and none of our suitcases came. That was the start of our adventure! We met with our “bodyguards” as we called them, Nimmit and Yejur (Sharma) and headed off to the hotel. My initial reaction was speechless as we drove down the congested roads of Delhi. I had never seen anything like this place in my life. And the colors of all the women’s outfits were phenomenal. It was a rainbow every place went. We rested up in the hotel and headed out for our first sightseeing adventure: Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, and Iskcon Temple. Oh, and began the culinary experience at an Indian buffet too!
